Curriculum:
Provide an
opportunity for students to gain an understanding and a life long enjoyment of
music through performance and mastery of an instrument
Grading Policy:
| LESSON ATTENDANCE | 25% |
| PRACTICE RECORD (SIGNED) | 25% |
| PREPARATION / PERFORMANCE | 50% |
First and Third MP - grades
will be based on weekly lessons, signed practice records and end of quarter test
lesson, playdate or tape
Second and Fourth MP - grade will be based 25% on preparation
and 25% on attendance at the concert; it also includes 25% attendance at weekly
lessons and 25% on a filled out and signed practice record
