1992 Toyota MR2 Turbo
This is Nolan's 92 MR2 Turbo, a car likened to a "baby Ferrari" by many car magazines and enthusiasts. The MR2 Turbo is a mid-engine pure sports car and is a car capable of very high levels of performance. The MR2's handling dynamics are among the best of any car in the world, and a 200 HP (stock) turbocharged and intercooled 2 liter, 4 cylinder engine supplies the power. As great as the MR2 is in stock form, we are in the process of modifying it to make it even faster and handle even better. Here is a list of the current modifications:

Performance Techniques springs....lowers car 1.5 inches and about 50% stiffer than stock.
HKS intake
HKS performance exhaust
***Custom made 2.5" downpipe and exhaust back to HKS muffler.
A'PEXi Super Air Flow Converter piggyback computer system interfaced with the factory ECU allows custom adjustment of air/fuel ratio calibrations and monitoring of many engine  parameters.
HKS Turbo Timer
*** HKS Super Blow Off Valve
A'PEXi 60mm boost guage mounted on A-pillar
"Indiglo" white face guages that glow blue at night
Driver-adjustable manual boost controller....raises the turbo boost level from the 8 psi stock level to 15 psi.
***Custom built fully adjustable fuel cut defenser allows fully adjustable setting of fuel cut under boost.
Sony 6 disc CD changer......gotta have tunes!
***Sony Playstation2 / DVD player and 5 1/2 inch TFT video screen...for watching movies on those long trips to autocrosses! We designed the instillation such that everything in the video system, from the Playstation2 to the video screen, is removable. Nothing is hard wired in, it is all an un-plug and remove affair. We don't want all that unneccesary weight in there for races.

(*** = new modification)

Nolan has recently begun campainging the MR2 in SCCA autocross races, mostly at Mississippi Region events in Jackson. We will keep you updated on how he does and how the car performs.

Here are some pictures of the MR2....we will have more to come soon as well!
