The Free Arctic States is made up of Greenland, Iceland and the Foroe islands. It currently has 4 planets and several colonies on Balkanised worlds under its control. The FAS has a current population of 11.5 million people, with their major proportion of their population is on the planet Braansk. All of their warships are empty hulls bought off other nations and fitted in the space docks orbiting their planets; these also double as repair yards. The FAS economy is based around exporting exotic fish as food and also mining. Their major trading partners are the NAC and the FSE.

2101 Denmark does not join the FSE or NSL. Greenland and Iceland take advantage and meet to form the FAS.

FAS and Denmark forces clash on earth and on several colony worlds

2104 Denmark is pushed back from the Iceland coast and the FAS capture the foroes islands. The battles on the colonies do not go well for the FAS.

2106 With UN intervention the war between Denmark and FAS is ended and the FAS are given control of two worlds, New Greenland and Braansk

2130 the planet Reykjavik is founded in the Druesk system.

2140 The FAS buy several ship hulls off the ESU that were damage during the war.

2144 the planet Nuuk is founded in the Druesk system

2147 The last of the ships purchased off the ESU is finally taken out off dry dock. Due to ESU pressure the FAS enter the second solar war.

2148 NAC ships enter the Druesk system, But are easily defeated by the FAS fleet at the planet of Nuuk

2150 The FAS declare neutrality for the remainder of the war.

2152 The FAS purchase damaged hulls off the NAC and a SDN hull off the FSE.
