Fiji
As I say, these are just preview shots; we will be in Fiji on the Sunday after Turkey day [which will be Monday in some parts of Fiji and Sunday in others thanks to the all too confusing international date line, which Fiji straddles]. Fiji is seven hours back [or seventeen hours ahead, depending on which side of the dateline you're on] of the US eastern standard time zone and just over a hundred degrees of longitude west of New York. More pictures are soon to come, featuring those crazy kids from Birmingham, Nate and Jill.
Our itinerary for Fiji was pretty much wide open. We booked accomodation for the first night here, with no other set plans. We hope to get some refresher scuba dives in and do some sunbasking and islandhopping. Should be fun! We'll keep you posted!
