| Amber- Amber is a nineteen year old college student who works part-time at the bookstore so she can afford to go out with her friends every now and then. No one knows a lot about her, but she's an Engineering major and worked backstage for the drama club since junior high. She's short, and the butt of many jokes beacuse of it. She reads a lot of science fiction/fantasy, and nerdy guys like to hit on her. The personality for this character is partly based on Al. David- No one quite knows what to make of David. His stoic face and dry humor make him almost robotic. He goes to work, does his job well, and goes home. He's got a quick wit, and once you get to know him, he'll open right up to you. His goal is to stay under the radar, and he's very good at it. Supposedly, he's in a relationship with Tracy, but that can neither be confirmed nor denied, and it will drive the staff crazy until they find out. David likes to read history and science books. This character is based on Cari's boyfriend. Joyce- Joyce is the optimist of the store. She has an English degree, but she's going back to school to become a teacher. She works part time at the bookstore to pay the bills. She likes to work in kids, mystery, and wherever else she's needed. She'll read anything, and goes through books fast. Raquel- Raquel hates her job. She's 18, goth, and this is her first job out of high school and into the evil working world. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind, and she's not afraid to read gossip magazines instead of working. She could care less about books, but her mom forced her to get a job and Nate's Books was the first place to accept her. The personality for this character is also partly based on Al. Steve- Steve is the store suck-up. He'll do anything to impress the managers, including agreeing with everything they say. He's not the brightest crayon in the box, and fails miserably at trying to throw his weight around. Tracy's convinced he only reads board books, but actually he reads poorly written business books and manga/comic books. |
