Camera Review: Sony DSC P51
Sample Pictures
Animated GIF of our park.
Done in Clip-Motion setting
With the shutter button held halfway down to prefocus for a couple seconds, a picture can be captured almost the instant you depress the button the rest of the way.
Another option is a feature called multiburst.  After depressing the button, the camera takes 16 frames.  you can choose the best one or use them all in a sequence.

Again, with the sutter half down for a few seconds to pre-focus and the flash off, a picture is almost instant.

June 8, 2002

I purchased this camera on June 6, 2002.  After much rese arch and debating I chose this camera over the Sony Mavica, which has the option of using a floppy disk for storage along with the memory stick.  This page will continue to be updated as I use the camera.  These pictures are from my first trip to our skatepark to try it out.  For all technical querys, please visit
www.steves-digicams.com, a site which greatly aided my quest for a camera.
