Evil In The Sky

It sizzles in my mind
They are there in a horde
Breaking the day
The day I had adored

It falls from the sky
and lands on my head
It falls on my car, my friends
Young, old, living, dead

From dark clouds they are spawned
They know what they do
Their sadistic evil is icy cold
It chills me through and through

It touches my skin
with a bite and a pinch
My muscles tighten
And I flinch

The battle is lost
I just run
My enemy has done his job
He's taken all my fun

This is one of my early poems.  I like it.  It's not very serious.  Although I feel this way when some dark rain clouds decide to ruin a good game of frisbe.
