| History of the Emo Sucks Medallion. I found a punk show in Madison posted on the Wisconsin Punk Online Message boards. Alex and I go to check it out. We got there really early, the posting had the wrong times on it. There were lots of punk kids walking around to look at though. The first band was horrible. They weren't even punk. They were Emo. The second band was suprizingly worse. They were also Emo. During this second band, we stole this little platic tubing cap. It was part of a portable blackboard thing. We hoped that the last band would be better. They were OK. But they were Emo. I was quite dissapointed. I really wanted to have a good old punk time. I really had my heart set on it. I was so enraged with these crappy Emo bands, that I made the Emo Sucks Medallion using the cap that we stole. I put it on a chain, so somedays it hangs around my neck. It scares of Emo deamons.
