This scene typifies Milennial Jerusalem for me: a photographer trying for the perfect shot of an Israeli soldier, in hopes of covering The Story -- in essence, that Jerusalem was crawling with crazies and y2k terrorists. Problem was, the only crazy people in Jerusalem seemed to be the reporters and people like me, who were hoping to observe the media circus and the end-of-the-worlders.
