Our branch of the Crain Family began in September of 1999 when Megan and I met at West Point, where I was a First Class Cadet (Senior). We got serious quickly and got engaged in the Spring of 2000. I graduated from West Point on 26 May 2000, and Megan and I maintained our relationship and planned to get married after I finished the Basic Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. On 11 November 2000, we got married at the West Point Catholic Chapel and moved back to Fort Leonard Wood. Little Elianna came into our world on 27 February 2002, and it has never been the same since. Her mother taught her so much during my year in Iraq, I was blown away when I got home. She is a wonderful little 2 year old girl now. She is smart, creative, and has a lovely little singing voice. She now can sing her ABCs, itsy-bitsy spider, old mcdonald (kind of), as well as nearly all of the songs from the wiggles, dora the explorer, and veggie tales. Can you tell I love to talk about her? We conceived our second child probably the day I got back from Iraq (I'm not kidding). The new baby is due in the first week of December. We all hope Meg isn't in the hospital for her birthday (8 December). Elianna is excited about being a big sister, and she will probably be a good one. She can already sing to the baby. Look for updates about the baby in the near future. |
