Alone To Stand by Francesca Thrash 4/12/99
A petal falls without a sound, Upon a shadow on the ground, Of one unhappy maiden all alone.
Her tears are frozen by the wind, For, like us all, she too has sinned, And now the consequences she must pay.
He lays below her, cold and stark, Within his box, so deep, so dark. He's left her, with his child, to face the world. |
