Maca Brownies

Actually they are Maca Kahlua Balls, but I prefer to call them

Maca Brownies

1 Stick of organic butter

3 T Kahlua (or to taste)

1 Cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips -
soy free, gluten free,
(I use EnjoyLife from Whole Foods)

1/4 Cup Xylitol (I use this for my sugar)

1 Cup of Organic Maca

1 Cup shredded organic coconut

2 eggs

1/8 Cup Cream

Preheat oven to 350. Combine butter, chocolate and Kahlua in mixing bowl and microwave on medium heat for 30 seconds or so until chocolate is about half way melted. Stir in Xylitol, Maca, Coconut, Eggs and Cream. Oh, when I have them, I also add Chia Seeds. Scoop into small balls (I use a round tablespoon) and place on foil covered baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes.

They are ok warm, but I like them best after they have been cooled in the frig. Let them cool to room temperature on the baking sheet. Then put them in a zip lock and place in the refrigerator.

This is an easy way to get your maca everyday, although it does have a few calories to it!

btw, DO NOT GIVE TO YOUR PETS. If you share your food with your pets, dont use Xylitol. Use another sweetener... And never give your dogs chocolate either...
