| This is Piazza della Signoria. Behind me you can see the Palazzo Vecchio and the Neptune Fountain (read the previous page). If you look carefully at the picture on your left you can see the most famous sculpture of all times - Michelangelo's David (it's on the right). Well, it a copy, the real one is in "Galleria dell'Accademia". | ||||||||||
| These are the statues of the bronze doors of Battistero (do you remeber i told you about the famous bronze doors? read the previous page). Here i have to say good-bye to this beautiful like a flower city (Firenze means "flower" in Italian). I hope that my few pics were enough to share with you the beauty of this fabulous city but believe me it's nothing comparing with what Florence has to offer. If you want to travel in time it's a right place to do that, you will definatly forget in which century you live. |
