| Update as of May 2004 The time has come to say the whole truth... When in 2000 I first started to write my confessions on line and had to choose a nickname, I instantly thought of: Ms. Natalia Danesi Murray a dear friend of the past. Natalia then became Natalie. Since Natalia lived in Park Avenue, New York City, I tried to add Park, but that was already taken in the Yahoo! database. At last, my nick became Natalie Paav...you may know how it works when you are registering for an ID on line. My cybernovel title was then "The confessions of Natalie". Let me state at once, I had no particular reason to hide my true identity but the fear to be insulted in everyday life. It was 1979 in New York City. I had been introduced to her by a mutual friend. Natalia liked a novel I had written and did all she could to find a publisher for me. At last, we did not succeeed. It seemed my work was not for the mass market, its candor was perhaps too strong for the times, etc. Natalia was wonderful anyway. Although she was in no way obliged to please me and looked at it quite professionally, she found a certain charm in my faulty written English.
