Introduction to Activity |
| Give students 5 blocks of assorted sizes and ask them to line them up from smallest to largest. Discuss characteristics of small and large blocks (ask how did you know which ones were large and which ones were small). |
| Have students randomly place 3 blocks in a line in front of them. Have them move the blocks so they end up in smallest to largest blocks but with the large ones only being able to jump over the small ones. This is a hand-on version of what they will have to perform in the following activity |
