"Choroiden: Chamurai Troopers"

Prologue
"You realize the jeopardy you have caused among us?"
Silence.
A heavy sigh is heard. "By collaborating with the mortals of this particular time era, you had forgotten your duties as an observer of the Demon Gate. We are to watch and ONLY watch events unfold and take form in whatever shape and size. Then when the time arrives, others will take our place. However this cannot happen if the young ones fail."
Silence.
Another sigh but time more out of lack of fulfillment - very rare, did one here show any emotion. "Thank the high ones that we are capable of twisting and fabricating events. So now they believe that the former demon priestess had returned to the Youjakai; they do not know that the insane witch and her followers had kidnapped her from this place. And if that was not bad enough, we have a displaced figure wandering the era in which those children came from."
"Forgive me. I did not mean to cause harm. In the beginning they had been trespassing and I stopped them. But when I saw them injured, something within me told me that I had to help them. I do not know why but I just had to assist them. They have such incredible power that I could not allow to be taken. Kaosu granted those powers to them along with the yoroi."
"Yes, we realize this but that does not excuse you for what you have done. You are to remain at your post and continue your duties - watch, and do not intercede. Let us see if they truly are exemplary of the yoroi."
Kiyemon nodded. "Yes."

In the depths of the shadows lurked Sachiriku. Dressed in an ice-blue kimono somehow tailor made to fit her bizarre figure, she smiled viciously as she sat on her dark, cold throne. Her eyes widen in delight as the glowing orb showed her the image of five children running through a forest wearing mystical yoroi.
"They come to seek their doom," she whispered to herself. She laughed out for a few moments before leaning forward a bit. Her nails embedded themselves in the arms of the throne. "Perhaps I should welcome them - hehe."
"My lady, if you will allow me the honor."
The voice shocked Sachiriku enough to cause her to fall down from the throne. She landed head first onto the hard, marble floor and winced. She shrieked and quickly sat upright on the ground, rubbing her head.
She mumbled, "I knew I should've worn my helmet, but nooo!"
Kaijin appeared, kneeling before her on the red carpet. His golden mask seemed to glow within the light of the floating orb. "Please forgive me for startling you, Sachiriku-sama, but if you will allow me, I will destroy those pesky brats."
"Sure, yes, if you wish," the other mumbled while rubbing the bump on her head. "Ara, make sure you kill Arago now. I want him dead. Dead as a doornail. He'll give me a good laugh."
"As you wish, my lady." Impossible, he thought. She was still insane - why bother hoping she'd gain some sanity before this mini war of theirs would be over? Perhaps if he did get rid of the Samurai Troopers, she could gain some memory of her life before the terrible incident, which caused her to go demented.
And perhaps he would even get the accursed mask off as well.

"C'mon guys! We have to hurry!"
At the sound of Chibi Rekka no Ryo's voice, the other four Chibi Samurai Troopers nodded in response. All five had gone into the forest (not before armoring up completely) in search of a way to find Sachiriku.
Chibi Rekka was in the lead, followed alongside by Chibi Suiko no Shin who carried his chibi yari in both hands. Behind him was Chibi Korin no Seiji and Chibi Tenku no Touma. Both ran at the same speed and both were able to carry their little weapons with ease. And right behind them was Kongo no Shu who was trying to finish the last of his donut as he ran.
The atmosphere was filled with crisp, cool temperature. Bits of snow formed at the ends of some leaves and the ground was slowly turning a shade of gray. The forest was growing dark but the children did not notice for they were far too busy with an agenda occupying their minds.
"We almost there?" Chibi Korin hollered. "I'm tired of all this running!"
"Um, I think so!" Chibi Rekka hollered back. He honestly had NO clue where on earth they were but he wouldn't admit that to his friends or to himself. I know where I'm going, he said to himself over and over again. I'm gonna get us to that witch and make her change us back to big people again!
Chibi Kongo, who had gobbled up the remains of his food, wiped his mouth with the back of his armored hand and shouted, "Anybody got food?!"
"Shu-kun! Now is not the time!" Chibi Suiko retorted.
Chibi Tenku nodded. "Yeah, let's just keep going! Ryo-kun knows where he's taking us!"
"You bet!" Chibi Rekka replied.
They all continued to run, unaware of the sinister creatures following them close at their heels.

"Where are we?" Byakuen exclaimed as he stood up, puzzled.
The white-haired man had woken up and found himself in a vast meadow. Tall, green and gold grass as far as the eye could see. The sky was stained red and black clouds slowly flew across the atmosphere. The faint sound of crickets could be heard in the background. Where exactly was he?
A crude laughter was heard from behind. Turning around, Byakuen growled as he found Kokuen-Oh standing there, with his hands behind his back. A grim smile was seen on his handsome face. His black hair flowed gracefully along the air even though there was no trace of wind anywhere.
"Are you scared?" Kokuen-Oh asked in a teasing voice. "Don't worry, Yaku. You won't be scared for long because in a little while, you won't be able to feel anything anymore."
Byakuen did a few back flips until he was nearly a few yards away. Pointing an accusing finger at the other, he shouted, "Why?! Why did you betray us?! Why work for that witch?"
"That is my business!" Kokuen-Oh shouted back, still smiling and hands still behind his back. "Now for the moment I've been waiting for - revenge! Revenge for what you've done to me, Byakuen!"
Slowly, he drew out one of his hands and held it out to the side. He opened his palm and there appeared a huge black boomerang. A beautiful blue jewel was embedded on its side.
Byakuen gasped a bit but showed no fear in his expression. That was the boomerang Mukara used, he thought. How can Kokuen-Oh have it in his possession?
"Byakuen, it will give me great pleasure to see your head go flying off," Kokuen-Oh whispered.
He knew that Byakuen could hear him very well. In fact, he could have read his thoughts if he wanted to. But he knew that it would be a tough battle if Byakuen decided to fight back.
"Kokuen-Oh," Byakuen murmured under his breath as if it the name were an omen.
The black boomerang suddenly went flying. It was so fast and so quick that Byakuen had only time to do one thing - brace himself.
Now let the story begin once more...
