My full name is Vanessa Picart. I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 2/5/1971.

My up bringing was middle class; I lived in an OK neighborhood on the island.

Carolina is big city and I enjoyed all the 13 yrs I lived there. But, I'm much happier in the US.

I love to go to instrument stores and antiques stores. Shopping makes me happy but getting

anew track makes me jump for joy.  I worked in the early 90s in NYC, 

and I used to go the sound factory and the tunnel,

Lime light almost every weekend after work,  like 5 am. Listening to the masters at work such as, Danny Tennaglia, Junior Vasquez,  Peter Rauhofer, Jason Ojeda,  Hex Hector, and Keoki (back in 90) not now... :)   

The ones that played for the Circuit Parties at the time. That’s who I hold responsible

 for me sparking an interest. But not until I came back to Miami,

 and I went out there to the Gay venues such as, Salvation, Pump,

Warsaw and I heard...Dj Abel, Eddie X. Kio Kio,Victor Calderone,Erick Morillo,

and every great local dj.. That’s when I said, V it’s time to go get your own DECKS!!

And thanks to my husband I was able to buy one and the rest is History in the making.
