Heya kid. What's yer name? Annie Kayler. Well, it's actually Anna, but no one's called me that in years. Don't you even -think- about it *grins*

Do ya got a nickname? Wheah'd dat come from? Yeah, Sparks. My eyes sparkle when I'm happy or excited, which seems to happen a lot. *smiles* Sparkles got shortened to Sparks.

How old are ya? When's yer birthday? I'm sixteen, born on June 7, 1884.

Fer dose a' us dat's blind, ya mind describin' what ya look like? My hair ranges from golden to medium-brown depending on where you look at it, and it also has some red highlights. It's kind of on the line between wavy and curly, so it tends to be kind of wild, but I like it anyway. My eyes are hazel, and they change colors slightly with my moods and the colors I'm wearing. I'm pretty short. *grins* Around five foot two on a tall day. *Sparks is not especially good looking, although she's far from plain, but her animated personality gives her a kind of charm that more or less compensates for her unimpressive appearance.*

What kinda personality do ya got? I'm really friendly, and I just love talking to people. Flash says I can be a bit tactless sometimes, but I don't mean to be, and I try to be nice. I'm not usually very patient, but I can't help it. *smiles* I'm trying! I'm pretty impulsive. I get all kinds of weird ideas and try them out, but I'm pretty persistent (stubborn, actually) enough that I usually see things through (at least when they're important). *Because of her aforementioned tactlessness, Sparks isn't very good at helping the girls out with their problems, but she tries at least. One thing she is very good at is making new people feel comfortable.*

What was ya life like befoah ya came heah? Very different. See, I was born in New Hampshire, and I lived there until I was fourteen. My dad was like me, very impulsive. One day, he decided that we should move to New York City, so we did. My oldest brother didn't want to come, and since he was nineteen he didn't have to, so he stayed where he was. My mom died when I was five, so only me and my dad and my brother Brendan moved. Bren's two years older than me, so he was sixteen then. Dad got a job in a factory, and Bren and I went to school. Bren wanted to work, but Dad wouldn't let him. We were here for about a year and a half when Dad got hurt in a factory accident. He died after a week *pauses, struggling with her emotions; the memory of her father's death is still strong after all this time* Bren and I had to drop out of school. Bren got a job, and I came here. *shrugs slightly* So here I am

Ya've got friends, don't ya? Who are dey? *returns to her usual perky self* I like to think that everyone here is my friend. Maybe I'm deluding myself, but I hope not. *grins*

Ya got a significant otha? *shakes her head* No. Not yet, anyway.

Anythin' else we should know 'bout ya? I'm the leader here...well, co-leader of the girls, but still...I'm no military general, but if you're going to stay here you've got to listen to me. *She tries to look stern, but her nearly everpresent grin belies her words*
