This area serves as the center for most of the interesting Kindred activity that occurs in this chronicle. Located near the banks of the Cumberland River and Riverfront Park are several interesting sights. Here I have set a few fictional places along side real landmarks.
   Here you will find the
InfernoDome, a techno discoteque that is guided by a few interested Toreador. It serves as a meeting place, hunting ground, and an occasional haven for many Kindred. You can also find several other night spots nearby, such as the Hard Rock Cafe and the Wildhorse Saloon.
Beside the park sits Fort Nashboro, a remnant from the civil war. It is rumored to be the sight of much supernatural activity. Some believe it is a spot where Wraiths are able to enter from the other side, while many assume it to be a Lupine cairn.
A few blocks down Broadway near the I-40 overpass you can find
the Meat Grinder... that is, if you really want to. This heavy metal/classic rock bar has been a meeting spot for the Brujah for several decades. The last two primogen have maintained an office there, and some people speculate that much of the Brujah's arsenal of weapons is stored somewhere beneath the club. This place has been the sight of several drive-by shootings, fights, and once even a small bomb. Enter here only if you truly dare!
A few unwary Kindred have discovered Lupines here. As strange as it may seem to find Lupines near the heart of the city, some elders believe that the werewolves have some source of power near the Parthenon, a replica of the ancient building in Greece. Buildings like the Parthenon were constructed because of Nashville's old nickname "The Athens of the South."
This road in north Nashville presents an interesting view into urban life in the Music City. Along Trinity Lane you can find many urban housing areas. There are also areas, like Dickerson Pike, where entertainment can be found in the form of prostitutes and a plethora of illegal drugs. The Brujah and Malkavians thrive here. A mortal gang known as the Nines have staked the area as their turf. They used to be run by Acid D, a Brujah who is believed to be dead. It was discovered, however, that Acid D had ghouled many of his gang lieutenants.
This area is not far from Trinity Lane, and it contains a few housing areas, particularyl of lower-middle class residents. There are several factories nearby and even two prisons. The most interesting structure, however, is the Metropolitan Bordeaux Psychiatric Hospital. Dr. Elizabeth Burke, Malkavian Primogen, has her office there. Other Malkavians occasionally reside there as well, particularly those Dr. Burke chooses to keep her eye on.
Another key area of the city, Brentwood is a haven for some of Nashville's wealthiest residents. Therefore, it's natural to assume that some Ventrue make their havens there. Even more interesting is the location of the Nashville Chantry. The Tremere have set up shop on a 60-acre former plantation. The city grew around the plantation and enveloped parts of it, but the Tremere maintain what is left. They reside in a large antibellum plantation home, where guests can be entertained, clan members may stay, and secrets can be discovered secretly.
Also in Brentwood is the estate of
Col. Douglas Clancy. He was a Gangrel elder, now deceased, who cast his lot with a resurrected Gangrel antidiluvian in 1997. Since the ensuing struggle, no one has dared enter the estate, and it has slowly begun to fall into a state of disrepair.
Just as important are some key state parks and the
Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, all of which hold their own particular secrets.
Known as the "Harvard of the South," Vanderbilt is one of the finest universities in America. It sports on the the best medical facilities in the country. The university, and other smaller universities nearby, attract many different forms of supernatural activity. On occasion, a student has been Embraced. Several different clans have attempted to stake a claim in the university, and it is still viciously fought over among Kindred.
This area of Nashville hosts many unique nightspots. Clubs, coffee shops, and sports bars abound. The
Setites have gained a small foothold here. The Prince, Roman Gaetan, even maintains a residence in the penthouse of the Loew's Vanderbilt Plaza.
Next to the city's three major interstate highways and the Cumberland River, the Nashville International Airport is a prime mode of transportation. It is a highly contested area of the city, with both the Ventrue and Nosferatu keeping close eyes on it.
Greer Stadium, home of AAA baseball, resides in this key area of the city. In South Nashville, not far from downtown, the Black Dragons street gang rules. It is widely know that Brujah Kasashi Mitsukine runs this gang, and they are fiercely competetive with the other two gangs in Nashville.
   Nearby the stadium is the
Cumberland Science Museum, an Elysium used mostly by ancillae and neonates. Also nearby are the State Fairgrounds and the old Nashville Speedway.
