Mississippi River

Here are some pictures of Lock and Damn #4 on the mississippi River.This lock is just 1 of 27 that are on the Mississippi River.Lock #4 is at Alma Wisconsin.

There is a pedestrian bridge over a set of train tracks that you have to walk across to

see the Lock.The following are 2 pictures taken from this walkway.

There were 2 trains that past that day.......the one you see above....and the one you will see

below......thought I would get a close-up shot.......:-)

And yes........I was that close......no zoom lens....was using a regular 50mm lens and kneeling

next to the outside rail on the second set or tracks.....about 9 feet from the on coming train.
