Bryan Shayne Biography

Born in the small south Louisiana town of Sulphur, Bryan Shayne spent

most of his young life moving back and forth across the Louisiana-Texas border.
Living in such Texas towns as Bridge City, Orange, Mauriceville, and Beaumont.
During this time, he was exposed to a wide variety of musical influences. But,
the musician who made the biggest difference in his life was his aunt, who was
a popular gospel singer in the area. She encouraged him to follow his dreams
and told him that its ok to let your feet get off the ground every once in a while.
This advice did not fall on deaf ears, although it seemed to at first. For, after
serving in the military for a few years, Bryan started to pursue his dream. He
moved to the Mississippi delta and started playing with small bands and gaining
stage experience. During this time, he also successfully tried his hand at
songwriting and continues to improve with every attempt. His professional musical
influences are Steve Wariner for guitar, George Strait for vocals and Garth Brooks
for showmanship.
