The Academy

We are delighted with the turn out we are getting for the academy. A lot of new members are now joining up. We are appealing to all junior and minor players to contact John Twomey or Patrick Andrews to help us out on Saturday mornings from 11.15 to 12.30. We are starting the indoor in the NMCI in Ringaskiddy on Friday 6th November for the boys. Ages 6 to 9 from 6.30PM to 7.30PM and ages 10 to 12 from 7.30PM to 8.30PM. The girls will be starting on Tuesday 10th Nov. From 7 to 8PM

County Board Draw

Dont forget the County Board Draw will be starting on Friday October 30th (1st draw), a vital source of income for Shamrocks GAA. Check out www.corkgaadraw.ie for more details. We've had a few winners in th recent past, in fact well done to Jason Deasy (weekend away for 2) and Lorcan Aherne (100 - Draw Coordinators Special Draw) on winning in the last 2 weeks. We will be looking for volunteers to go door to door for a few hours over the next 3 weeks. Its the same 2 or 3 who do it every year; this year we're appealing for help and aim for double figures
