When we lived in Lincoln, we went to the WOO races at Eagle Raceway and thanks to Tommy we got to meet all the drivers and hang out there. Most are still racing with WOO today and one is even in Winston Cup racing--Dave Blaney.Steen, my Dad and Brother got to meet Terry Labonte at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE just after Caelen was born. Caelen still has his autographed picture hanging on his bedroom wall. And now that Nascar is coming to Kansas City, we're hoping to get to a real race one of these days!
Steen and I were high school sweethearts. We met in our Beg. Journalism class our sophomore year of high school. We were married on January 9, 1993. Steen and I both have a long time love of racing. Steens dad is a big time Earnhardt fan, has been for many years. Luckily Steen and I both are Earnhardt fans, so there is no fighting on race day! Well, thats not totally true though, since both kids a huge Jeff Gordon fans!! We both also enjoyed a lot of the older racers. Cale Yarborough was a mutual favorite of ours. Probably has something to with why our sons name shortens to Cael!! Steen and I also followed the local dirt track racing in our hometown. In fact, a friend of ours raced a sprint car while in high school and just after. He even raced with the World of Outlaws for a while.

I live in the NJ shore area. I have been
married for 9 years and have 4 kids.
Currently I am a Family Daycare Provider
and loving every minute of it. I started
watching Nascar about 12years ago rooting
for Hut Stricklin (when he was #12...long time ago..lol).
Now I love rooting for the Labontes, and of course
Tony Stewart now!  (If you watch me real closely,
you may even see me root for Robby Gordon!)
My hubby prefers Mark Martin (although he is a
little leery of the whole Viagra thing). My daughter
loves Jeff Gordon, still, and my boys only know to
yell real loud when mommy does!
