Here I am on my wedding day, sitting all alone in the bridal room. I sat and stared out the window at the water that was moving ever so slowly.
So much had happened over the last year and a half it almost blew my mind. Beth had been found guilty of attempted murder and sentenced to 20-30 years in prison.
Shane had gotten a ride in the Busch series driving for Braun racing, taking the place of David Stremme. He took over the ride about 2 months after we got engaged. He went into the next season with a bright outlook, narrowly edging out Martin for the Busch Series Championship.
Shane and I decided that it would be better that we waited til now, giving me so much time to plan it all. All in all everything was perfect, especially since last week I found out I was expecting. A little fact I plan on sharing with Shane later tonight.
I jumped slightly when I heard a knock on the door. �Who is it?� I asked, a little agitated at someone interrupting my train of thought. �Its Tyler� the male voice answered. I stood up and picked up my dress so I wouldn�t get it dirty walking across the room. I unlocked the door and pulled it open. My mouth almost fell to the floor when I saw the dozens of roses that Tyler was trying to manage.
He walked in and set them down, finally ridding him of the obstruction of his sight. �Wow� he said, seeing me for the first time. �You look amazing, my brother is very lucky� he said walking over and giving me a hug. I smiled thanking him for the compliment, all the while admiring the flowers.
After Tyler left the room I noticed an envelope buried deep inside the bouquet. I reached in carefully so I wouldn�t prick myself on the thorns and pulled out the letter. I smiled when I saw �Baby Girl� written across the front in Shane�s writing. I sat down on the same chair I had occupied earlier and tore open the envelope. I pulled out the letter and started to read:
BabyGirl,
Well, I guess this is it! You and me forever. I don�t even know where to begin or end for that matter. You know that you are my everything; I love you more than life itself. I don�t think I can even begin to tell you how grateful I am to have you in my life. Since the day I met you I knew that we were meant to be. I knew that you were my one and only true love.

Sighing I laid the letter on my lap, looking out across the water I realized how right Shane was- he was my one and only true love.
