20-year-old Kandiana Earnhardt- Cane stood outside of what was, her and her ex boyfriend�s 1970 Ford Mustang convertible. She silently cursed as she kicked the dead car's wheel.
�Crap, what am I going to do� She thought out loud looking around the deserted area of the mountain, �I�m in the middle of nowhere and I have no clue where I am�
She spotted a sign 500 feet in the distance.
�Welcome to Daleville� She read.
�My brain cannot be functioning properly anymore. Stupid Dylan. Ok it said back a few miles ago it was 20 miles to Roanoke. Junior can come and get me� Kandi thought.
She opened her phone.
�Roaming? God my life is messed up,� Kandi said.
After walking 30 or so minutes, her phone snapped out of roaming.
�Call Junior� She said.
�Calling Dale Junior� Her phone said.
�Hey Tiny E, what�s up?� Junior answered.
�Junior, I�m in the middle of nowhere and my car is dead. I don�t know where I am exactly, somewhere near Roanoke I guess, and I-�
�Kandiana calm down, now where are you?� Dale asked.
�Daleville� Kandi said.
�What? No really, where are you?� Dale asked.
�A little stupid town called Daleville. It�s 15 miles from Roanoke� Kandi said.
�Why are you there?� Junior asked.
�Well let�s see I was going to visit this one idiot in my family since my boyfriend broke up with me and kicked me out of our apartment� Kandi said.
�Ok, K. I�ll be there as soon as I can. You have the convertible don�t you?� Dale asked.
�My green one? Yes� Kandi said.
�I�ll try to find it bye,� Dale said as he hung up.

2 hours or so later Kandi was laying in her car dozing.
�Kandi�
She jumped and looked at the window.
�Thank you for coming Dale� Kandi said as she jumped out of her car.
Dale just stared at her.
�God you�ve changed� Dale said.
�Dale I�m not 17 anymore� Kandi said, �Access to makeup and money can change someone�
�Ana babe, you�re engine is blown� Jamie�s voice said from under the hood.
�Big Mac?� Kandi asked.
Jamie McMurray shut the hood.
�The one and only� Jamie said.
Kandi ran over and hugged him.
�Oh �Diana (Dee-Ana) your looking great� Jamie said spinning her around.
�I can�t believe I haven�t seen ya�ll in� 3 years almost� Kandi said.
�K that isn�t our fault� Junior said.
�I know between college and Dylan. I didn�t have a lot of time to do much else� Kandi said.
�I hated that bastard you know that right?� Jamie said taking a box out of her car.
�I know you did Jamie� Kandi said taking a box and putting it in Dale�s car.
�How long were you driving?� Junior asked.
�6 hours or 7, I don�t know. I left at 6 this morning and drove a few hours, ate twice stopped for gas when it beeps� Kandi said, �What time is it?�
�8:45� Jamie said.
�8:45, no wonder I�m tired and hungry,� Kandi said.
�Let�s head back to Club E, and maybe snag a bite to eat on the way back� Dale said hooking her car up to the back of his.
�I�m going to lay in the backseat. Wake me up if we stop somewhere,� Kandi said hopping into the backseat.
�Alright� Dale said.
�Hey �Diana, before I forget can I ask you something?� Jamie asked.
Kandi stretched out and looked at him through the middle of the two seats.
�Sure� Kandi said.
�The Nascar pre season banquet is in 2 weeks, would you like to escort me?� Jamie asked.
�Me? Why not one of Nascar�s blonde bimbos� Kandi said.
�Because they aren�t my best friend and they are fake. Plus your prettier than all of them� Jamie said.
Kandi yawned.
�I guess� Kandi said.
�Good now get some sleep,� Jamie said.
�Ok� Kandi said gladly closing her eyes.

2 hours later
�Kandi wake up. We�re at McDonald�s� Junior said.
Kandi opened her eyes.
�Where are we?� Kandi asked.
�Greensboro about an hour or so till we get to my house� Dale said.
�Where�d Jamie go?� Kandi asked.
�Inside to ask if we can eat in there� Dale said.
Kandi stretched and her shirt went above her belly button.
�Kandiana Kara Earnhardt, you have your belly button pierced� Dale said.
Kandi pulled her shirt down and stepped out of the car.
�Dylan said it would be sexy when we� you don�t want to know why� Kandi said.
�No I don�t� Dale said.
�I also got my tongue pierced� Kandi said sticking her tongue out at him.
�Dylan corrupted you� Dale said.
�He did not� well maybe he did� Kandi said.
Dale shook his head and slung his arm around her neck.
�Well cuz. Are you ready to go back to the Earnhardt Capital?� Junior said.
�I want to see Kelley, and Kerry� Kandi told him.
�Great the triple K�s will be back together,� Dale said.
�And poor Dale will be left out. I really want to see Taylor though,� Kandi said.
�Tay�s been staying out of the public lately amazingly. She�s been living with Kell�s� Dale said opening the door for me.
�How are Kell�s kids?� Kandi asked.
�Good, growing up too fast already� Dale said.
�Kids do that,� Kandi said.
�You did� Dale said.
�Dale, I�m like 9 years younger than you. Big deal� Kandi said.
�Go ahead �Diana you can order first� Jamie said.
�Alright. I�ll have a� um� a number 3 with cheese and a sprite� Kandi said, �Now I�m going to go sit�

Kandi was woken suddenly when Dale slammed on his brakes and Kandi rolled off the backseat into the space between the backseat and the back of the front.
�Ouch�
�Dale!�
Jamie had been lying on the floor and Kandi had rolled onto him.
�Sorry guys. I saw someone. I�ll be right back, I need to talk to someone� Dale said leaving the car.
�Ok� Kandi said holding her head.
�You ok?� Jamie asked rubbing her back.
�Yeah, I was just in the middle of a really good dream� Kandi said.
�Do you remember any of it?� Jamie asked.
�All I remember is a set of intensely blue eyes,� Kandi told him, �They were like oceans to get lost in�
�Hmm I wonder whose eyes they were?� Jamie said.
�Oh yeah, she�s right here. Kandi get up,� Dale said opening the passenger side door.
Kandi sat up on the backseat.
�Kandi you remember Bill Elliott don�t you?� Dale asked.
�Oh yes, Mr. Elliott it�s nice to see you again� Kandi said.
�Last time I saw you Kandi you had braces still,� Bill said.
Jamie laughed and she kicked him in his side.
�And hello Jamie� Bill said.
�Hello Bill� Jamie said.
�So you�re moving the guy that�s replacing you in his apartment?� Dale asked.
�Yeah, I�m just stopping in. His name is Kasey Kahne, he's got great potential you better watch out next year" Bill said.
�Like a rookie would beat me,� Jamie said.
Kandi hit him.
�Shut it Mac� Kandi said.
�Anyways, I�ll see you at the banquet?� Bill asked.
�Yes even Kandi will be there,� Dale said.
�Good, well see you then� Bill said.
Dale got back into the car.
�Ready to head home?� dale asked.
Jamie climbed into the passenger seat.
�Let�s go. There should be a Club E party going on,� Jamie said.
�Oh no� Kandi said, �You mean Club Dork-E?�
�Oh shut up,� Dale said.
