�Huh?� Kasey asked, cocking his eyebrow in an attempt to act clueless. �Oh please don�t tell me I paid for a dress and a plane ticket and you fucking forgot!" Leah stated dramatically. "Calm down" Kasey said, moving closer to her. He knew that there were reporters all over the lobby and the last thing he needed was for her to make a scene. "I didnt forget, Leah. I just assumed that you were going with JMac since that was who you LEFT ME FOR" he said through clenched teeth. She looked up at him, the look of pure evil in her eyes. "Now Kasey you know very well I never cheated on you. You were the one I wanted from the beginning, not Jamie. Im sure there is someway I can make this whole silly thing up to you" she said, tracing a line across his chest and biting on her bottom lip. "Not a chance, I hear Kyle Busch is single. Go sink you claws in him!" Kasey seethed before turning and walking off. Leaving Leah standing in the lobby, a look of shock across her face.
He walked outside and saw Scott leaning up against the truck, his foot tapping impatiently. "Im coming damn!" Kasey said, climbing into the back seat. "What's up your butt?" he asked, noticing Kasey's dazed look. "Nothing" Kasey huffed, as he continued to stare out the window. "Dont let this affect you interview today. It isnt everyday that Howard Stern asks a NASCAR driver to be on his show". Kasey knew that he had an interview but it wasnt until that moment that he knew with whom. "Kick ass, im going to be on Howard Stern?" he asked, his mood immediatly changing. Kasey spent the rest of the ride smiling, the confrontation with Leah from earlier had already been erased from his mind.
Pulling up in front of the studio, Kasey looked up and noticed the sea of people that were standing outside. Everyone was wearing some sort of #9 garb. Sighing, he opened the door a rush of cold air hitting him in the face. The screams coming from the crowd was almost defening. "Kasey! Hey Kasey!" they all screamed, grabbing and pawing at him like he was a male stripper in a room full of nuns. He waded through the crowd signing as he walked, a little trick he had learned from Jr. With a quick wave, Kasey eascaped the roar of the crowd into the small hallway. He looked around for any sign of the actual station listing. "Hey what station is this thing on?" he asked Scott. Opening his notebook he glanced around the page "95.5" he answered, closing his book with a snap.
Kasey pulled out his cell phone, and quickly dialed the number of the hotel concierge. Once he reached him he gave him a few instructions. He hung up, rught before a lady with orange hair pulled him into the studio.
***Meanwhile***
"Yes?" Kat asked as she pulled the door open. "Ms. Melissa, Mr. Kahne asked me to deliver this to you" he said, handing her a small radio. "He said to turn it on 95.5" the man explained. Kat smiled and thanked the man, closing the door as she walked towards the bed. She sat down on the bed and plugged in the small box, flipping the switch on the side to turn it on. Moving the dial she finally found the station, a show already going in full swing. Listening intently, she laughed when she heard Kasey and Howard Stern talking about pit lizards.
"So you must get alot of ass" Howard said. "Not really" Kasey answered, Kat could tell he was nervous. She listened as he asked him a few more questions, about the sport in general.
"Alright Kasey, we have been sorta watching NASCAR for the past few weeks just to prepare for this interview. We saw this thing on NBC called '10 laps with..' and we thought we would do a spin off called '10 rounds with...'. You think you are up for it?" Howard asked. "I guess" Kasey said, the uncertainty still in his voice.
"Ok you have to answer these honestly" Howard was laughing harder now. "Number one, When did you lose your virginity?". Kat laughed as Kasey let out a few "umm's and uhh's" before he answered "fifteen". Howard chuckled "so about 3 years ago? Im kidding".
"Two. Where was the most outrageous place you had sex?" he asked. "That one would get me in some serious trouble, so I have to plead the 5th" Kasey was sounding more confident, like he was opening up.
"Three. How many partners have you had, I mean hell there are women constantly throwing themselves at you". Kasey simply answered "Four". "That's all, good god!" Robin Givens chided. "C'mon Robin, be nice" Howard said, wanting to move on with the interview.
"Four. Ever do anyone famous?". Kasey was silent for a minute "Yeah I did Britney Spears in my dreams last night, That count?" he asked, his sense of humor making the entire room chuckle. "Yeah we have all had her there".
"Five. Longest Relationship?" Robin chimed in, helping Howard as he took a sip of water. "Um, about 1 year" Kasey answered.
"Single?" was the next question on the list. "Attached" he responded. "How long have you been with her?" Howard asked. "About 4 months" Kasey smiled. "Pretty?" a question that caught Kasey off gaurd, he quickly answered "beautiful". "Wanna Share?" Howard asked, joking in only a way he could. Everyone in the room started to laugh. "Now Howard!" Robin warned, a motherly tone in her voice. Kat smiled, loving that someone was getting Kasey to open up.
"Im enjoying this, as im sure our listeners are too. Ok first place you and her had sex". Kasey was answering the questions as quick as Howard was spitting them out. "Her place".
"Last Place?" he asked, a small smirk forming on his lips. "We went on vacation last month, so at the beach". Howard finished taking another sip of water "A month?? She needs to give it up more" Howard joked. Kasey just smiled "Im busy, hard to see each other".
Howards producer was trying to wrap it up, moving his hands to let Howard know he only had 30 more seconds.
"Ok we will make these last ones quick. Ever cheated? Been cheated on? Tied up?" Howard spit out. Kasey's face turned red with the last question "Uh, No, yes and no" he smiled. He had just made it through a Howard Stern interview only slightly embarassed. "Well Kasey thanks for being here, next time it will be longer" Howard said as the show went to commercial.
Kasey made his way back into the hallway he came in, shaking Howards hand as he walked out. He quickly pulled out his cell and flipped it open. "Room 415 please" he said when the desk girl answered. "Hello?" Kat's voice picked up on the other end. "Hey you, did you listen?" Kasey asked, hoping she wouldnt be pissed that he had talked about their sex life on the air. "Yeah I heard it, quite funny" she said, starting to chuckle. "Ok good, well I need to go out into this sea of people again. I will be back soon and we can order our uh, dinner" he said, noticing Scott was eavesdropping. "Ok, see you soon" she said before hanging up. "You are so damn nosy!" Kasey laughed as he pushed to door open of the buiding, the roars rising when they saw Kasey.
