What do all those flags stand for anyways?
Green Flag Officially begins a race or restarts a race after a caution flag or red flag has been thrown.
White Flag Lets drivers know that there is only one lap of racing left.
Checkered Flag Signals to the drivers that the race is over.
Yellow Flag Signals to the drivers to slow down that there is trouble on the track, also tells them to look for the pace car.
Black Flag Instructs driver(s) to remove his/her car(s) from the track. This flag is displayed when a driver is going to slow or when they are being penalized.
Blue Flag w/yellow stripe Signals to a slow car to move over and give way to the faster car. This flag is usually known as the 'Passing Flag' or 'Move Over Flag'.
Red Flag This flag stops the race during inclement weather or when the track needs to be cleared of debris after a crash.

What to take to a NASCAR race Cooler no larger that 14 inches, filled with drinks(please note some tracks may not allow coolers)....A whole lot of sun screen........Binoculars-especially if pit road is cisible from your seats.....Sun glasses so you can see the race with out the sun in your eyes......A T-shirt and/or cap supporting your favorite driver.....and last but not least, plenty of money! That is, incase you forgot any of these things!

HOW FAST?????
How to determine how fast a driver is going Divide 3,600(the number of seconds in one hour) by lap time measured in seconds; multiply answer by size of the track.
