Hey!
Nothing you can say (say)
Nothing's gonna' change what you've done to me (hey)
Now it's time to shine (shine)
I'm gonna' take what's mine!
You're gonna' burn in my light

Burn In My Light by Mercy Drive

*~*The scene opens up inside of the lounge area just off of the lobby of the Le Royal Meridien King Edward in downtown Toronto, Ontario, where the XWF is in town this week for their annual pay per view, Holy War. It is somewhat late in the afternoon, and the lobby is fairly quiet, awaiting the rush of people coming in from the financial district. Scanning the lounge, the cameras move in on a pair of plush looking high backed chairs. Seated in one of the chairs, dressed in a black buttoned shirt, black Wranglers and a black cowboy hat is the voice of the XWF, Jim Ross. Jim looks slightly unsettled as the cameras swing over to the chair directly across from him. There, flanked by the monster duo of Batista and Dallas sits Jenna Jameson. Dressed in a pair of snug fitting grey hip hugger pinstripe pants, a pair of black heels, and a cotton candy pink three quarter sleeved cashmere sweater, Jenna crosses one leg over the other as she sits there and waits for JR to start talking.*~*

Jim Ross: Jenna, first off, let me thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to sit down with me.

Jenna Jameson: No problem, JR.

Jim Ross: The first question Im going to ask is one that seemingly everyone wants an answer to. Why did you turn your back on your longtime friend Dawn Marie?

Jenna Jameson: The supposed million dollar question. Why, after a lengthy and trusting friendship, did I toss Dawn Marie aside like a used sweater? The answer is simple, JR, and I am going to tell you as well as the countless number of people who have been following me around asking that same question. The reason why I ended things is simple. I was getting sick and tired of being treated like a second class citizen by someone whom I thought was my best friend. I was getting tired of always being put on the backburner. That sort of thing gets to you after a while, JR, and there is only so much a person can take. There are certain things in life that you just dont do. You dont spit into the wind. You dont mix stripes with plaids. And you DONT neglect your friends. Its not my fault she forgot that.

Jim Ross: But, you two appeared to be tight as a drum. What thing triggered what you did?

Jenna Jameson: Its a number of things, JR. For example, the whole ordeal that Trish Stratus put her through. I was there for her throughout everything. I called the cops to help look for her son. I helped her husband look for her. I did everything a good friend was supposed to do, and did I even get a thank you out of it? No I didnt. Whenever she needed a tag team partner, she knew that she could count on me, and I did it happily because I was her friend. I never once asked for anything in return. Looking back, I realized that this was a mistake from the get-go. Looking back on the entire time we were friends has made me realize that people like her are only looking out for one thing, and thats themselves.

Jim Ross: What sort of things are we talking about here?

Jenna Jameson: Selfishness, egotism, self-centered behavior. Take your pick, Jim. I mean, the way things were between us, its amazing to me that I remained friends with her as long as I did. One of the biggest things that sticks out in my mind..well, think back to Souled Out. The match that I had that night with Trish Stratus was undoubtedly the most brutal of my entire career. I spent about two weeks in the hospital after that match, and you know who was the only other person to visit me, other than Joy and the gentlemen standing behind me?

Jim Ross: No, but I have a feeling that youre going to say it wasnt Dawn.

Jenna Jameson: Youre damn right it wasnt her. The only other person who cared enough to see how I was and that came to visit me was Keith. He was the ONLY one to spend the time with me, which was every day I was in there. Did I see any shred of proof that Dawn was there? No. Could she have been bothered to get her own head out of her ass to come and see the woman that she considered to be like her sister? Of course not. That requires thought, and she doesnt have a thoughtful bone in her body. As much as this kills me to admit.Alex Wilkins and Trish Stratus were right. They kept telling me that Dawn was only using me to boost her own ego and that I had the career that she wanted. They were right. Even Rheia said that I was better off without her and that she was holding me back. I did what I did for myself for once, and to be quite honestI dont care what anyone else has to say about this.

Jim Ross: Those are some pretty harsh words, Jenna.

Jenna Jameson: They may be harsh, but the truth hurts.

Jim Ross: Are you at all worried about what the fans are going to think after what they watched you do?

Jenna Jameson: Honestly Im not, and Ill tell you why. My fans are the best. Theyve seen me through the ups and downs and I have a feeling that once they get wind of just WHY I did what I did, things will only be stronger.

Jim Ross: Very well then. Now, this week you are scheduled to take on the husband of your former best friend, Shane Turner. On top of that, this match is for the Intercontinental championship and that title will be decided in a match that you have proven to excel in.the Ladder match.

Jenna Jameson: *grinning* You aint just whistling Dixie, JR. If there was ever a way to put a title match in my favor, its to make it a Ladder match. Its a match that allows me to show off how versatile I am. There is nothing more exciting that standing at the top of a twenty foot ladder, just INCHES away from reaching what youre fighting for, and then to look down to see your opponent lying motionless at the foot of the ladder and fly off onto them, sacrificing yourself in the process. Its a great feeling, and thats a feeling that Shane knows a little about. I mean, that dive off of the stage onto The Big Show..impressive. But as impressive as Shane may be, Im that much better. Hell, I am two titles away from becoming only the second female grand slam champion in XWF history. Ive got ALL the momentum in my corner, and what does Shane have? Hes got the Intercontinental title, a company that should have stayed dead, and Dawn. If you ask me, hes not got much going for him. Shane needs to learn that the WCW is nothing more than a brand that no one cares about. He thinks its cute to take an XWF title and rechristen it a WCW title. To me, that is not only unsettling, but its a direct slap in the face to everyone who has held the title. Give it up, Shane! No one cares about WCW anymore!

Jim Ross: Shane does seem to be focused on this match, though.

Jenna Jameson: Focused? Is that what you call it? You call someone who is more concerned with paying his wifes shrink millions to hypnotize her so shell forget what happened between her and Trish, focused? If you ask me if Shane is focused, then Id say no. Not that Im in a caring mood, but what Shane is doing with Dawns doctor just proves what kind of a man he really is.gutless. Shane Turner is nothing more than an ego-driven jackass who wants to control every thing and every one. How else do you think he was able to pay off all of those WCW rejects in order to resurrect it? You know something, JR? There is something that bothers me a little about this whole deal.

Jim Ross: Whats that?

Jenna Jameson: Well, when I look back at his earlier days in XWF, he had nothing but negative things to say about me, mainly bringing up my past in the adult film industry. That was a sore subject for a while. But then, that barrier was eventually broken down and he was able to look past that. Now here we are, and what is happening? Shane hired a former stripper turned semi pro adult star as his personal secretary. Aint that a funny coincidence? I wonder just how personal Stephanie Bellars really is to Shane. But I guess it really is a mute issue, considering his wifes track record with men. Lord knows his wife makes it a habit of sleeping with other womens fiancs and getting pregnant by them.

Jim Ross: You seem to still harbor feelings of ill will about that night.

Jenna Jameson: Maybe I do, but you know, now isnt the time to talk about that. Right now, my primary focus is on Shane Turner and taking the XWF Intercontinental Championship back to the XWF and more specifically, around my waist. Shane may not be thinking so, but I know and all of the fans know that come Holy War, theres going to be a title change.

Jim Ross: Well, that about does it for me. I want to wish you the best of luck this Sunday.

Jenna Jameson: Thanks Jim.

*~*Jenna stands up and shakes hands with Jim as she, Dallas and Batista walk out of the lounge and into the lobby. Once out of the lounge, Jenna turns towards her bodyguards.*~*

Jenna Jameson: What did you guys think?

Batista: Kinda brutal.

Dallas: You went off on Dawn and Shane like the Fourth of July.

Jenna Jameson: Its kind of sad that it took the two people I hate the most to make me see the truth. Almost makes me think I should have seen this coming a long time ago.

Batista: Well, you gotta do what you gotta do I guess.

Jenna Jameson: Indeed.

Dallas: Are you worried about the match at all? I mean, Shane might have Kronik at ringside with him, so you never know what will happen.

Batista: Dude, nothing to worry about. Thats what were here for.

Jenna Jameson: Thank you.

Batista: Besides, have you really THOUGHT about those two? Piece of cake. Remember Adam Bomb and Crush?

Dallas: *smacks forehead* Oh God, youre right. As if they didnt have enough problems working for the newly restored WCW.

Batista: I rest my case then.

Jenna Jameson: *smirking* Are you two through?

Batista & Dallas: Yes.

Jenna Jameson: Good.

*~*Laughing, the trio makes their way around the corner towards the elevators. As they round the corner, Jenna stops in her tracks and sighs. Standing in front of her is The Problem Solver Tyson Tomko and none other than the Canadian Princess Trish Stratus.*~*

Jenna Jameson: Oh great. Just who I DIDNT want to run into.

Trish Stratus: Now, I know you dont actually mean that.

Jenna Jameson: No, actually I do. What exactly are you doing here? I thought you had a house here that you stayed at.away from me.

Trish Stratus: Well it just so happens that this being my rare week off, I thought Id spend some quality time with someone I care VERY deeply about.

Jenna Jameson: I dont see youre mirror here.

Trish Stratus: Ha..Ha.*rolls eyes* No, I was talking about Christian. Were using my downtime to.well, Im sure you could figure it out.

Jenna Jameson: I dont really want to think about that right now.

Trish Stratus: Suit yourself. But the reason Im standing here talking to you is because I want to congratulate you.

Jenna Jameson: Umm.why?

Trish Stratus: Because you FINALLY saw the light and you FINALLY admitted to the ENTIRE world that I was right.

Jenna Jameson: Oh.that.

Trish Stratus: Yes, and as much as we hate each other, Im just SO touched that you actually listened to something I had to say. Its enough to make me cry. *fake tears*

Jenna Jameson: Cut the theatrics, alright? I only held on to what you said because it actually made sense for once. Its not something Im making a habit, BELIEVE ME.

Trish Stratus: Fine by me. Just remember something. If I was able to be the wedge in this little relationship, imagine what else I could do.

*~*Trish smirks as she walks towards the open elevator, but not before turning her head back towards Jenna.*~*

Trish Stratus: You have a nice day now. Dont do anything I wouldnt do.

*~*Laughing a little bit, Trish and Tomko enter the elevator as the door closes. Meanwhile, Jenna just stands there and sighs.*~*

Jenna Jameson: I do NOT know what Christian sees in her.

Batista: No clue.

*~*Shaking her head, Jenna and the guys walk over to the other elevator that is opening up and walk in as the scene fades to black.*~*
