CONTRIBUTING TO THIS SITE
The goal of this site is to compile information for new NASA participants. If you have knowledge that can help new participants, we would like to include it. There are no limits to the topics, other than that they pertain to NASA, and/or racing.
Here are some suggested topics:
Preparing your car for HPDE
Preparing yourself for HPDE
Driving Front Wheel Drive Cars
Racetrack Etiquette
Choosing a Race Class
Preparing a Car for a Specific Class
Any Type of High Performance Driving Techniques
Any Topic That Will Help New Participants
Other Resources
We are also looking for other resources to help new drivers. For example, if you have seen a website or book that can be helpful, tell us about it, so we can pass along the information.
Business Owners
If you own a business that supports NASA Racing, send a brief synopsis of your services, and links to your website. As a business owner, you have expertise in your products. Informative articles that can help new participants make intelligent product decisions will be included. These articles should not mention your business name, or promote any specific brand, but they should help people know what to look for. A great example might be an explanation of the rating system for safety attire.
HPDE Participants
If you are an HPDE participant, tell us what you need more information about. If there are topics we haven't covered we will try to find and add that information to the site. Also, just because you don't have a competition license doesn't mean you can't contribute to the site. Describe what your biggest problems were, and how you solved them, or just write a story chronicling your experiences with NASA.
