Family Bonding Excursions


Wilderness adventure tailored to the needs of your family. Guided experience including nature crafts like basketry, pottery, making cordage, buckskin pouches, beadwork; nature skills such as wild plant foraging, animal tracking, scouting; survival skills such as water needs, storage, shelter, orienteering, firemaking, outdoor cookery, first aid. Campfire stories and music. Activities designed to support parent/child cooperation and learning together. Strong emphasis on ecological awareness.

One day, two day, five day programs. Programs can be completed in base camp or combination base camp and walking explorations.
 


Fee scale depending on size of family and needs. Minimum $120/day per family.

Participants help prepare food. Also participants pay for any federal or reservation permits.
