Thanksgiving / D�a de Gracias

After two weeks of studying about pilgrims, indians and Thanksgiving Day, the two-way bilingual immersion clases got together to celebrate. The four classrooms were set up with stations. There were also two story stations (one in English and one in Spanish) and a station in the cafeteria. The children rotated through the stations and created indian vests, headbands, necklaces and cracker turkeys, plus worked on patterns and listened to stories. It was a fun and busy morning!

Despu�s de dos semanas de estudiar sobre los peregrinos, los indios y el D�a de Gracias, los alumnos del programa de inmersi�n biling�e se unieron para celebrar. Se montaron estaciones en los cuatro salones. Hubo tambi�n, dos estaciones en donde escuchar cuentos (uno en ingl�s y otro en espa�ol) y una estaci�n en la cafeter�a. Los ni�os rotaron por las estaciones y crearon chalecos indios, plumas para adornar sus cabezas, collares y pavos de galleta adem�s de trabajar con patrones y escuchar cuentos. �Fue una ma�ana divertida y ocupada!
