We believe everyone should be able to take advantage of the wonderful therapeutic and stress relieving benefits of Massage Therapy. We are committed to ensuring our clients that everytime they receive a massage session with us they'll enjoy a caring and healing experience. If you've never received a professional Massage Therapy session before we thought it would be helpful for you to know what to expect on your first visit.
First you'll be greeted by the therapist and then you'll be asked to fill out a intake form so that the therapist can get better aquainted with your medical history, as well as learn if you're on any medications. This information is completely confidential and is used only to create a personalized therapy session that is based toward your specific needs. You and the therapist will discuss the reasons and expectations you are looking for during your session.
After you and the therapist have discussed what will occur during your session you will then be given a towel or sheet and asked to disrobe to your level of comfort. You will dress in the bathroom or bedroom area of your home and once you've done so you'll return to the therapist. You'll see a massage table has been setup with clean sheets and a blanket for extra warmth just in case you get cold during your session. You'll be asked to get under the sheets and while the therapist holds the sheet to shield your privacy you'll be asked to discard the robe you are wrapped in and asked to pass it under the sheet. at this point your massage session will begin. During the massage the therapist will ask you how the pressure of certain techniques feels to you. If at any point you are uncomfortable please let the therapist know because your comfort and state of relaxation is very important to your therapist. Once the massage has ended you'll be handed your towel/sheet and the therapist will help keep your modesty safe while getting off the massage table to change into your clothes again.
~During all therapy sessions music will be provided for a spa like atmosphere. If you have a special requests for a certain type of muic you'd wish to be played please let the therapist know 24/hrs. before your session.
