| In the 2003 2004 off season the narrogin speedway facility has undergone alot of work. first job to be established was the revamp of the lawn in the centre of the track nand in the spectators area on the main straight. once that was finished we moved on to fixing all the trucks and vehicles we had in the back shed. after all of them had been revamped the commitee decided to resurface the track to provide more grip therefore more speed and better prangs:). after the track had been revamped we began to construct a limstone wall out fron of the club rooms to replace old railway sleepers this job has only just been completed today. as you can see aot of work has been tackeled in the off season to provide a better environment for racing and watching this season. 5/9/04 |

| after hours and hours of watering and track preperation and thousands of liters of water the 300 odd horse power supersedans still managed to turn the track to dust. but they still managed to put on a good show wiht one of thier drivers taking out the narrogin speedway christmas cup. mark giancola still finished on top in the feature hes to qwik. feature wins in other divisions included FORMULA 100'S chris nardini STREET STOCKS allan hicks SPRINTCARS glen carstairs SUPERMODS n/a DIRT MODIFIEDS n/a hope to see you all at our speedcar meeting where 20 of them have nominated and should put on an excellent show. |
| the street stock mcdougal weldments cup saw the turn out of 14 street stocks for the 2 grand that was on offer. other divisions included super mods productions and formula 100's. wayne tompson WA1 took out the night for the mcdougal cup in the street stocks, tom davies took the overall win in formula 100's, and the shaw boys took out the placings in the supermods. at about 9:30 the ambulance and fire truck were called out to a prang in the middle of narrogin where a car load of people lost control and hit a tree so after an hour wait for the ambo and fire truck to return we began racing again and about half an hour later and 17 laps into the 30 lap feature for street stocks the power failed and we were left in the dark cutting all the other divisons down to three rounds except productions. so after every 1 had packed up of course the lights came back on and we had our presentations. see you next meeting 11/12/04 SUPER SEDANS 27/11/04 |
