At the Abyss, Cassie gave Harris a gift from her shop; a sweater to replace the one which had been ruined, staunching a stabbing victim's wound, the last time they were there.
While they talked, a large man approached Harris and Cassie, to say he had a message from 'Charlie'. He decked Harris with a sudden punch and a fight broke out between the two. Jinx eagerly watched, Legionairre Leviticuss listened to his comm and he and Babyy exchanged a few quips about the night air and being 'clear as beer on a Nuke's rear' while he kept careful watch on the brawl. Harris tried to get the upper hand. Bull - the large brute - grabbed Cassie by the hair and Harris slammed his head under the man's chin, which drew blood, and teeth and caused him to let go of Cassie.
On his comm, Leviticuss assured Babyy - his partner outside - that what she heard was just a 'friendly dispute' and not their worry. Jinx hollared to Cassie to kick Bull in the jewels. But Bull was moving and returned a blow to Harris' chest that sent him flying into the bar.
Cassie found a bottle on a table and from behind Bull, she broke it over his head. Harris saw the opening, lunged low and amid Jinx' cheers he managed a tightfisted blow to Bull's family jewels. Bull's eyes crossed at the impact to his cajones and with a surprisingly feminine whimper, he fell to the ground, clutching his groin. Harris crawled over to deliver his own message: "Tell Charlie he just made a big mistake." He then landed a shattering blow across Bull's face whereupon the man's head rebounded off the floor. He was down for the count.
Across town in the hospital cafeteria, Danni and April discussed Sean's situation. Danni told April that several people were calling for Sean's blood. Some tried to get Bliss to take care of him, though Bliss temporarily dissuaded them from their ideas of vengence.
Danni asked April to tell Sean to get well soon because the boss - Bliss - wanted to talk to him. April asked if she could walk Danni home and Danni accepted with teasing. She figured April just wanted to see a few young men she knew at the firehouse. Though she really wanted to make sure Danni got home in one piece, April pretended to be caught in the act and 'fessed up', because she didn't mind the idea of seeing Arn and Dai either.
Harris was badly battered. Cassie tried to persuade him to go to the hospital, but he declined. Cassie got some ice for Harris' swelling face and worried over his bruised ribs. She helped him home to his stash of emergency morphine and spent the night to observe him for a possible concussion.
