The scene, Club Psycle, a club run by an alliance of gangers that were brought together to protect the orphanage and hospital areas. Psycle's also the headquarters of New Rydynn's unofficial racing league, mostly of motorcycles and dirtbikes. A rigged up TV system broadcasts the races to the the clubs. Stocked with a small kitchen it also served some food. The club has a strict rule about No weapons inside to keep it neutral.
This night CJ Algantt decided to drop in and have a drink. She was buzzed by errant racers before she got to the door, where the friendly bouncers held on to her weapons while she was inside. In the club, Lovejoy escapee Daimonn was enjoying a meal of noodles, trying to avoid discovery as he had some racer's beer... a variation with barely any alcohol. CJ however noticed him and asked the cute female tender about Dai.
Mara was also in the club and went to check on CJ and Dai. CJ was busy grilling Dai over leaving his adopted family. Dai protested that he was alone and needed to be with his old friends. He also defended his right to drink., while CJ admonished him for to be careful on the streets and not make mistakes. Dai then distracted the ladies by mentioning that Bliss had finally given birth.. to twins. Apparently a baby girl had been hiding out behind her brother Taggert. Because she was so small, she and her family were staying longer at the hospital. Labor had gone on for a day so Bliss was too exhausted to do much except rest
Mara made a comment that her brother Garrett hadn't been any help to Bliss since he had pissed her and a lot of people off when he resurfaced as Shin and wouldn't remember anyone. CJ agreed and asked her if she missed the way he had been. Mara was unsure, she knew everyone wanted him to be the same but she simply wished he would be true to himself. She also expressed some self-doubt about herself since her stay in the hospital, but it wasn't sure if she was joking or not. She also explained that Shin was having trouble with some old friends, especially with one in particular. Yet the same guy was mellowing slightly. Comments were made that he had 'found a good influence' and speculations ensued as to who she was.
