Teagen and Colin chatted about his spar with Shin of the previous evening while up the road Varenn and Menneth played an odd sort of chicken before chatting, as much as Menneth ever chatted. At the sound of a shot, Colin dashed off to find out who was shooting. It turned out to be Varenn at Menneth, in that game of chicken. Teagen, alone on the steps, practiced walking up and down them.
Later Colin, Menneth and Varenn talked while back on the steps Teagen was joined by Bliss and Shin. Subjects varied but nothing of major import was discussed. Eventually, Colin, Menneth and Varenn joined Teagen on the steps...no introductions were made. Then at the mention of some fellow, Hyuga, Menneth went off hunting him with Varenn in tow while Bliss headed home to her husband and kids.
