Hurrah Hurrah Hurrah!
Although we feel strangely unsatisfied by our win...
We played Seaforth - we got there and it was a different team. Apparently the MWSA told them that they had to swap their Div 2 team with their team from Div 3 who was doing quite well - so we faced their Div 3 team who was much better than their Div 2 team!

The first half was crap - we played really badly and as Peter called it "panic football"... everyone tackled eachother, didn't move to the ball, didn't pass it etc. but Seaforth played well. Second half was much better. We are working heaps better with our midfield and strikers.
Our first goal was in the first half and it was a fantastic goal! Callie knocked the ball high in the air and Tash brought it down, turned, went around a few players then tapped it to the left into Kathy 's path and she slotted it in!
Then the second goal was in the second half - Sharna put through a really nice through ball and Lee ran onto it. She had a clear run and tapped it into the back of the net.
We had some great opportunities but we were sure that the goal was smaller than usual (Elaine was happy!) We had some really nice play - 1-2s, passing it through and back etc. But just couldn't convert our chances.
Good on Seaforth for putting up a good fight.
