| On Sunday, Narrabeen Ladies played Dee Why A - this was the team that knocked the Beanies out of the finals last year so the girls were pysched for a big game! But unfortunately Narrabeen were short of players and the heat took its toll - the girls put in everything they had and were winning 1-0 for most the game, and dominated play. That was why it was so heartbreaking to see Dee Why score a very soft goal in the last 30secs of the game to bring the score to 2-1.. But the positive outcome is that when we have a full strength squad we will be able to beat this team no problem so we look forward to the return leg!! Special mention goes to Carly who played in goals for the first time and made some fantastic saves, and Cally as sweeper kept the backline really tight and solid. | ||||||||||||||
