Match: Round 11 (Replayed)
Date: 4/7/03 (Yes a Friday night!)
Venue/Stadium: St Matthews Farm, Cromer
Attendence: Approximately 150
Goals Scored: Kristin (Penalty)
A replayed game because Marday broke one of the girls ankle last game!! Apparently we broke another girls ankle tonight but she kept playing so it must not have hurt that much!!

This team is nice - pity about the sideline. They yelled abuse at us and at the referee. It didn't make the most pleasant of playing conditions, added to the fact we were playing on a muddy field, at freezing temperatures and at night (reminded me of Scotland!)

The game was not without controversy - first a yellow card to one of the Dee Why players, followed by a red card for a slide tackle with studs up. A penalty to Narrabeen brought the score to 1-0.

Wendy was shortly shown the red card for a tackle from behind (not deserved but the ref had no choice).

A handball in the box by Vic meant Dee Why got a penalty - just missed by Kathy brought the score to 1-1.

The girls played well despite the difficult conditions and vocal Dee Why sideline but it wasn't a pleasant game at all.... but the girls got some satisfaction when Dee Why A's coach locked the keys in the light box forgetting to turn the lights off first!! ha ha!! :-)
