Steamed Pudding
2 cups All Purpose Master Mix
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup milk
Stir sugar and cinnamon into Master Mix.
Add raisins and milk and stir thoroughly.
Pour into greased 6-inch baking dish (a greased fruit jar or coffee can will also do)
Cover and place on rack or on top of piece of crumpled foil inside a larger pan. Add water, cover the larger pan, and steam in gently-boiling water for 30 minutes.
Serve hot with cream or milk.
Makes about 4 servings.
NOTE: You can change this recipe by using chopped apples or other chopped fruits or berries, or by changing the spice.
