Meatball Pie
1/2 pound ground beef
2 Tablespooons All Purpose Master Mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon chilli sauce or catsup
1 egg
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 to 2 Cups cooked mixed vegetables
2 Cups milk
1/4 Cup All Purpose Master Mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 recipe Master Mix Biscuits
2 Tablespoons catsup or chili sauce
Mix ground beef, 2 Tablespoons Master Mix, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 Tablespoon catsup and the egg. Shape mixture into 8 balls, each about 1 1/2 inch in diameter. In skillet cook meatballs in hot vegetable oil until browned. Place vegetables in greased 2 quart casserole, arrange meatballs on top.
Blend 1/4 Cup Master Mix and 1.2 teaspoon salt into hot drippings. Cook over low heat, stirriing until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat stir in milk. Return to heat and bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil and stir one full minute. Pour over meatballs and vegetables.
Bake at 450* for 10 minutes or until mixture is bubbly.
Prepare biscuit dough and roll into an 8 inch square. Spread with 2 tablespoons catsup or chili sauce. Roll up and seal by pinching edges together. Cut into 12 slices. Place slices cut side down on hot mixture. Bake about 15 minutes or longer as needed until biscuits are browned.
