Italian Bread Sticks
2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Master Mix
3/4 Cups warm water
1/4 Cup melted butter
1 package dry yeast
(Optional seeds...caraway seeds, poppy seeds, celery seeds, sesame seeds or garlic salt or flakes)
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add Master Mix. Beat vigorously.
Turn dough onto well floured surface. Knead till smooth (about 20 times)
Devide dough into 16 equal parts. Roll each piece between your hands to form pencil like strips, 8 inches long.
Spread part of the butter in a 13 X ( X 2 inch oblong pan. Put strips of dough in the pan. Brush tops with the rest of the butter. (Sprinkle with choice of optional seeds if you wish to)
Cover with cloth and let rise in a warm place (85*) until light. About an hour.
Baake at 425* 15 minutes until golden brown. Turn off oven. Allow bread sticks to remain in oven 15 more minutes to crisp.
