Apple Rolls
2 Cups All Purpose Master Mix
1/2 Cup water
1 Tablespoon butter (melted)
2 Cups shredded tart apples
1/2 Cup sugar
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Syrup
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1/2 Cup white table sugar
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Cup boiling water
Place the syrup ingredients in an sauce pan. Boil 3 minutes. Scrape this syrup into a 8 X 8 X 2 baking pan. set aside...
In a large Mixing Bowl place the All purpose master mix. Make a well in the center of this and pour the water into the well. Stir with a for (25 strokes) Turn onto a sheet of waxed paper and knead well 6 times. Turn dough onto a well floured surface. Roll out to 8 X 8 inch rectangle.
Spread with butter, shredded apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Roll up as for jelly roll and seal edges well.
Cut into 1 inch slices and place cut side up in the syrup
Bake at 450* for 20 minutes. Serve warm with syrup from the pan or with sweet cream or icecream.
