The Willesden Flat

This is where Donna and I landed after moving on (were pushed) from her grandparents place. Wendy, Brooke and Brenda rented this place originally and now Donna, Myself, Wendy, Brooke and Luke are living here. The lease expires towards the end of February so we will find a new place then. Its the top room in the building and has a high 45 degree ceiling.

Wendy and Luke have the upstairs area. The stairs are a retractable ladder thingy that can come out from under you if you are inexperience at using them. There is enough room up there for a single bed, a few draws and some floor space. There is about 4 feet of clearance so you can't stand up. To the right of the stairs you can see the front door.

In one corner is the bed Donna and I use. Donna has been nice enough to let me use it while she uses a stretcher bed we bought from Argos. Its positioned well for watching tv in Bed. This is an aerial shot taken from upstairs.

The next two shots are an angled shot from my bed looking at the upstairs area and a shot of kitchen. The kitchen is very small and I have several head wounds from hitting my head on the cupboard doors. If you combine this with me hitting my head on the angled walls I'm sure it adds up to some brain damage. I think my head has dents in it.

Here is the bathroom. Small but effective. The shower has good pressure unlike some others in London.

The far photo has our window covered with a blanket to help insulate the room as well as our big screen tv and the laptop with an early version of this web page.

These final two photos are taken from the window. In my hand I hold a scraping of snow from the roof. That's how thick it was at the time of the photo. It was thicker on the ground and snowed all day. It was a great couple of days. Willesden green looks much better when you cover it with snow.

Check out the Tuna pie I made.
