Ok, a basic rundown.... I'm 22, female and live in Melbourne, Australia. I live in a two bedroom flat with Jess (my flatmate), Fred (my goldfish), Ivan (my pot plant), and occasionally NoSurprises (my boyfriend) who, although not a listed resident, spends his fair share of time at the flat.

I dream of one day owning my own house, and having a Beagle by the name of Darwin.

After purchasing the house and the dog, I plan on opening my own bookstore. It will provide a mixture of new and second hand books, and specialise in children and young adult novels and picture books.

Education Primary School: Vinefera State School, Victoria Secondary School: Swan Hill Secondary College, 1999 Over the past four years I have been studying at university. I originally started in a double degree, Arts/Science at Deakin University Geelong, then transferred over to BA Professional Writing and Editing at the Melbourne Burwood campus. Last year I had a few financial and man problems that created a few, ah, difficulties when it came to studying so I have postponed my course to take up a full time job and save some money, hopefully  so I can return a years time to finally complete my university experience.   Cartoon Obsession Earlier last year (2002) deciding I needed a hobby, I  started collecting Care Bear books. After trawling through eBay I now have a complete set of the Parker Brothers Hard cover Care Bears books printed in the early 80's, a plush Braveheart Lion and Sharebear. I've always had a love of children's literature and media, and so I began to take a more active interest. While searching for a job, and finding way too much time on my hands I began writing various scripts and screenplays for a child/young adult audience. Wanting to refresh my childhood memories and gather a bit of intelligence on the general market of today I jumped on the internet and....found it quite difficult and time consuming sorting through the various quality and themed sites available. In sorting through and bookmarking the more interesting and valuable sites for myself, this page has slowly sprung together during moments of spare time or writers block. Frog Obsession I love frogs, what more can I say? Ok, fine, one of my favourite childhood pets were my frogs.  As mentioned above, I attended The Vinefera State primary school in Victoria, Australia, of which varied in size from 22-34 children.  The school was situated not very far from the Murray River, and bushland. As such, in the girls loo (outdoors), we always had to check under the seats for snakes, spiders, or if we were lucky, frogs. The frogs we found were caught every now and then, and carefully looked after in a fish tank at school. Every morning when the teachers came in they would ask us if the frogs had croaked yet, being the youngsters that we were this totally confused us (croaked / died, get it?). Well basically this Frog-catching-in-toilet hobby as a child, led to my current love of Frogs. So there you have it.
