A starry sky to touch the moon
When was it my heart went wrong?
My love broken all too soon
And my heart by far too long

When was I to know the truth
About the things that made my life
Honesty regarding you
And another friend in strife

Let's begin this tale again
Just say things worth speaking of
Avoid of how you lost your sin
Because we hate the man of love
Is this life worth living here?
A whisper left in others' name?
Is our purpose for our tears?
Or some equally dumb game?

Can you tell me no again
When I ask you for your hand?
I'm only asking for a friend
But insted you say no chance

Speak to me as if you loe
Cry to me as if you care
Just don't leave me in this snubb
The teeth of life upon me bared
