| The Nakedness of Soul |

| I have found a moment's stare Caught alone and unawares Where to find where I would go, When all within too soon laid bare The nakedness of soul now found When all inside is now laid down I can't escape what I now know And my faults played in the Round Could the world have turned on me? Enslave by who I used to be? Pull me down and take me low? So I could never feel as free? When does all the fighting end? Against the world and then within? When did I become the foe? Ball and chained up to my sin? For worlds alone are in my eyes For it is all I have to cry We will reap from what we sew Here then on until we die |
