| For every lie there is a death For every sought, uncentered breath For where your heart has broken twain You will never be the same Same as left and soon as come Weary hearts for warmth do drum And where we left our tattered hearts God to come and make new start Life is life and that is that There is no fret 'pon soughted path Risk we life in search of plunder Yet our minds are put asunder In our hearts lie deeper still Unchecked wontings of the will While yet have we to understand The greater things at God's command Listen to the words here said Seeking not to make you dead But a caution nonetheless Of the things you digress You sit idle in wait and worry With only desires left to stirring With no goal and work to do You have found yourself in two Take your ass and step on up Take the wine, pour out your cup You have left your mind behind And sought things for a darker time Where your soul in pain may be I have a bit of truth for thee Though there may rest pain inside And always do you want to hide You must stand and shake it off Leave the sickness with a cough God stands not for lazy men But comes for those to take their sin While you wait and ponder pain God will come yet then again Listen to these words I say For they may not be 'nother day God is at your very door Knocking loud with love implored Yet I know you leave it closed Bite your cheek and lift your nose Do not turn away from him! He who comes to clean your sin! Leave your dark and bittered heart God to clean and give you start I know that life may be bad And things in life have left you sad But know that in the worried times God will wait for your last dime And while you wait 'pon broken bed With weary heart and sickened head He will offer just once more To lift you from this tattered store Take my words dear friend of mine Let not your life fall off besides Take heed this verse of mortal coil While angers pain inside you boils Pity for your soul indeed! While God sends his son for thee! Cry no tears that you've not earned! For lessons you refuse to learn! |

"I have brought this peace of mine Restoration in you'll find That I am here to lift you up To give the wine and fill your cup... "Seek my face and I'll make yourn Innocent when you were born Waste not life I've given thee For time is short, and YOU ARE FREE!!! "Do not accept unwonted fate! I never said it was too late! Wherever you may be in life, This will not get you a wife! "This will not a career make! Will not leave you worlds to take! Will not give good place for child To raise and grow in God's own style! "Know that my hand is here Open for your heart laid dear And where the end my be for you Now's the time for you to choose "Take the sword and banner high Light the fire within the sky Stand beside the friends you have With honor, dignity and staff "Your friends see the plight you're in And how you've succumbed to your sin Stand up and be counted, never on to die For the servants of the rock, I am only LIFE!" Understand that what you have Is not the same was what you grab And that your life if falling fast Only your salvation last! But if you wait in pondered stupor The girl you seek will wander surer Far away from places hence Never to return still whence So stand on up or stand aside But show your face and never hide Shake the fear and pity you hold Life is warm and you've grown cold This my friend is loves true form An arm to keep you from your torm I stand here to guide you out For I have light, and you have doubt. Here I stand a friend, though far I wish I could be where you are But alas for I am here And you alone must shed your tears But in love and friendship sure God alone with you now pure So I send you word to rise And see the love of Him inside For he will has never let you down Whether you felt in the ground He has kept his bargain side From your word are you to hide? Now to stand beyond the pain With entire world to gain And now it's time to win or lose Now's the time for you to choose |
