Northland Amateur Racing Club is a non-profit club formed to promote amateur sighthound racing. Currently we are holding LGRA (Large Gazehound Racing Association) and Silken Windhound Racing meets in Cambridge, MN at the Isanti County Fairgrounds, and are starting to hold NOTRA (National Oval Track Racing  Association) meets.

LGRA is open to Afghan Hounds, Azawahks, Basenjis, Borzoi, Chart Polski, Cirneco dell'Etna, Greyhounds, Ibizan Hounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Magyar Agars, Pharaoh Hounds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Scottish Deerhounds, and Sloughi. NARC is also pleased to offer racing at our meets for Silken Windhounds under the auspices of the International Silken Windhound Society.

A race meet consists of three 200 yd sprints down a straight, flat track. Hounds run within their breed and grouped by ability. To learn more about LGRA, please visit their website on our links page.
