Since Roy's departure, Eisner has completely shut down Disney's Florida Feature Animation Studio, which has produced films such as Lilo and Stitch, Mulan and Brother Bear, resulting in over 260 out-of-work animators. He has also fired Ron Clements and John Musker, the directing duo that brought us Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, as well as causing Pixar, the studio responsible for Toy Story and Finding Nemo, to part ways with the company. This will undoubtedly cause huge long term losses for Disney, since profits from Pixar's string of hits are what have been keeping the WDC's head above water for as long as it has. (And that's just the beginning. If you want the rest of the sad and gory details of the situation at Disney, click on the banner at the bottom of the page.) Without Roy Disney's voice of authority, Disney is bound to continue on it's heartless, money-grubbing and poopy way until it finally withers and dies. It won't go out in a blaze of glory though. Oh no. It'll fade gradually in such a way that no one will even miss it, if they notice that it's gone at all. This would be a very sad and unfortunate turn of events, don't you agree? So what can you do about it? I'm glad you asked! You can start by signing this petition. By signing this petition you are saying that you support Roy in his effort to get Eisner far, far away from the Disney company and...well, just go to the link if you want more information. My name is at # 4552. If one petition isn't enough, you can sign this one too. Or, you can vote at this poll. | Together, we can SAVE DISNEY! |
| As a longtime fan and supporter of the Walt Disney company, it has come to my attention that Disney's projects in the past 9 or so years have been, shall we say, lacking. They just don't have the heart that they used to have. I have one word for you, kids: SEQUELS! Why is Disney making crappy direct-to-video sequels to every movie they've ever made?! Well, here's one reason: |
| "We have no obligation to make history. We have no obligation to make art. We have no obligation to make a statement. To make money is our only objective." - Michael Eisner (see left) |

| 'Who the heck is Michael Eisner?', you ask? He's the head honcho over at Disney. You may recognize him as the sleazy host with the raspy cigar-chewing voice on the Wonderful World of Disney. This is the man who has been overseeing Disney for the past 9 years, which is suspiciously the same time period that Disney has been going down the toilet. Coincidence? I don't think so. Besides laying off literally thousands of extremely talented animators, Eisner has actually gone so far as to bully Roy Disney, Walt Disney's nephew, into leaving the Walt Disney company because Roy has become so disgusted with the recent crappiness erupting from the bulbous pimple on the face of animation that Disney has become. |
